Campus Ministry is the heart of a
Catholic school. It is the Holy Spirit
working in the lives and through the
lives of
students and staff. At Campus Ministry
God is central to all we do. We believe
that every person has a role to play
and
a gift to share and we welcome and
encourage all to be a part in our faith
community.
Central to our purpose and goals, we
promotes student ministerial
participation in creed, sacraments,
Christian living,
and
prayer. Creed defines what we believe,
while the sacraments provide us a base
of how to worship, Christian living
is
putting God's teachings into practice in
our daily lives, and prayer is how we
talk and listen to God.
Our
goals at Campus Ministry are:
-
Promote the primacy of our school's
Catholic identity
-
Encourage students to actively
participate in their Faith Formation
-
Connect the Seton Catholic community
with the broader communities
-
Foster spiritual development among
all members of the Seton community
-
Improve the unity and vitality of
our Christian community through
worship and service
-
Proclaim the Gospel message in word
and action
